The last training module of “Konstantin Preslavski” class for Political Leaders at the Institute of Politics has begun. The fifth module has started with lectures by the television presenter and broadcaster of “This morning” bTV news Anton Hekimyan.

Special leaders’ lectures will be delivered by Lilyana Pavlova from PP GERB, Minister of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and Kiril Dobrev from BSP, Deputy Speaker of the BSP National Council. They will share their experience at the highest state level of the job they do and party structures as well.

Among the lecturers next week will be Prof. Georgi Karastoyanov; His Eminence Metropolitan Anthony; Prof. Alexander Marinov, Ernestina Shinova, Prof. Dr. Nadia Mironova, Prof. Mitko Dimitrov; Assoc. Prof. Daniela Bobeva; Eng. Anton Ivanov; Prof. Georgi Karastoyanov, Diana Kovacheva, Commissioner Yavor Kolev; Ognian Zlatev, Head of the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria; Yuri Aslanov and Prof. Antoaneta Hristova.

The political leadership programme of the Institute of Politics consists of 5 sessions, each with a duration of one week. The speakers talk about managing communication and political marketing, resolving crises and conflicts, negotiating, political leadership and its specificities in the various democratic systems, state apparatus, the work of the European Institutions, the current development of sectoral policies. The duration of the programme is 320 hours, including lectures, workshops, individual assignments and role-playing games.

Within the training of ‘Konstantin Preslavsky’ class the Institute of Politics has organized and held a round table on “What Kind of Europe Do the Balkans want” in Belgrade.

A host and a guest lecturer of the module in Serbia was Mr. Ivica Dacic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.

The official ceremony on the occasion of the graduation of ‘Konstantin Preslavski’ class at the Institute of Politics will be held on 9th June, 2018, Saturday, 11:00, at The Great Hall of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
